Wool users--what do you do for winter PJs?

In the summer my son sleeps in his fitted, Disana soaker, and tshirt. Easy peasy.

Still searching for a good winter PJ solution that doesn't involve buying expensive overnight longies. Size 2T fleece footed PJs are super tight in the crotch over his giant diaper. Tried 3T and they were still tight in the crotch--all the added length seemed to be in the legs.

Have some of those lovely stretchy Hanna cotton sleepers, but find they get really damp over wool (he is supersoaker).

Other ideas to keep him cozy at night?

We use longies. They don't have to be expensive, get some recycled ones and call it a night

We use longies too. Myecobaby sells some nice and affordable upcycled ones on etsy.

We use longies for both boys. DS1 is 4 and has been PLed, but he still insists on wearing longies too. He calls them his "toasty pants".
ETA: If you don't want to do wool longies, what about fleece ones? Julie of julesbulia makes super cute ones!

I hadn't thought of putting an inexpensive pair of thinner upcycled longies over his soaker. Perfect!

I have been struggling with this too! We put a bigger sleeper over his wool sometimes, but mostly I use Longies and a shirt. If I put him in the disana I put socks and a long sleeve shirt on him. The disana goes to his knees and he sleeps with me so he stays warm anyways.

Upcycled longies or cheap interlock from FSOT. I second the rec for myecobaby! I have one of her soakers and I love it :-)

Piddle Poodles makes some cute & very affordable convertible fleece footies. I used them for DD at night when she was still in diapers.

For DS I use cotton 2 piece pjs (he has a polyester allergy) over his night diaper & kissaluv cover. We do not get any wicking & he's a super pee'r

What about just adding baby legs and socks? Then you don't need anything to fit over the bum!
