Re: help with my birthday tattoo
Agreed. I wish I could do crazy colors but bleach destroys my hair and I'm not willing to risk it anymore.
also birds are on my never list. Don't get me wrong, I like the way they look, but they're way too common. same with dandelions, infinity signs... Not sure how prices are where you are... My husband has an extremely detailed tattoo that takes up his entire forearm (about 16 inches) done in a reputable studio by a very talented artist and it was only $200. So I figure around $500 is a decent estimate. If the design I chose were to end up costing more than that, I would have either done it in stages or held off til I had more. None of that is really relevant anymore though, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, I think I'm just going to have one of my other tattoos fixed up. I have two tattoos that I got when I was 16 and had just turned 17 that aren't in great shape. you don't even want to know where i got them lmao. thankfully, they are pretty faded, so should be relatively easy to fix/coverup. I should probably deal with those two first before getting more tattoos... I've had more tattoos done since those, but I should just stop or I'll probably never get those two corrected. ETA: i apparently have no pictures where you can see his entire tattoo on this computer.... gr Last edited by JustSomeChickVee; 11-14-2013 at 05:16 AM. |

Re: help with my birthday tattoo
thats a deal, most reputable artists here do custom work by the hour. $150-$200 an hour is the norm, not including tips.
