Just my 2 cents, you are going to want at least 10-12 a day for the first few days. At least. I had a vag birth and passed tons of clots for about a week afterwards. Trust me, you're not going to want to keep a pad on even if you just changed it 20 minutes ago with a clot.
I used disposables and changed about every hour or so for the first few days, actually my bleeding was so heavy the hospital gave me pampers to wear with mesh netting granny underwear to hold them up. Did I mention how pretty I looked? I would make sure you have some nighttime ones and then a bunch of regular ones so you can change often. OR use the paper ones for the first few days so you don't have to deal.
