Cloth Diapering 101?

Hello!

I'm new here - was linked over here from the Kellymom breastfeeding site. I have been doing some research today on organic products, and stumbled across some info on cloth diapers. My dd is 7.5 months old and has been using disposables mainly because I didn't know a lot about cloth. It seems to have gotten more user-friendly over the years, and is not what most people think of when you hear cloth diapers. (you know, the 2-headed monster look you get?)

I'm looking for a more environmentally-friendly (as well as cheaper) alternative. However, I think the more research I do, the more confused I get. Maybe this is one of those things that you just have to do it to learn?

Anyway, I was hoping someone here could give me a quick 101 lesson on what you need and how to do it. DD is in daycare so I need to check with them and see if it would be a problem for them. If so, we can always use them at night and on weekends.

TIA for your help - I'm looking forward to reading your comments.

Christy

www.thediaperhyena.com is always a steadfast of diapering information for a long time as well as www.diaperpin.com
There are alot of options out there and in many price ranges. Many priced exactly what they are worth even if it appears alot. Others will do the job at a more eco-friendly price.
You will find what works for you.

Daycare may not be so willingly but some will do pocket type diapers.
