Re: I was wondering for moms who had m/c at 16/20 weeks?
I labored and delivered my first at 13 weeks. It was heartbreaking and very painful. Let alone the amount of blood.
I could tell it was a baby I was holding in my hand - We ended up trying to get a death certificate so we could bury our LO legally, but in Iowa they have to be in gestiation for 16 weeks to get one.
That's when my mom told me for the first time about her only miscarriage at 7 weeks before she had my younger sister. She buried her angel her backyard under our big willow tree, so me and DH buried our angel next to my little sister or brother that I never knew I had.
Sorry, I sidetracked - my point was is I could tell it was my baby easily and it was very very painful (both physically and emotionally). Maybe your friend is in denial?
