Re: Pockets for Large Toddlers?

I just ordered some Alva big baby diapers for my 21 month old son who is 37lbs and 37 inches. They should be here in a couple weeks and I can let you know what I think about them

I used Sunbaby "trainers" for ODD around that weight. She is almost 4 and completely potty trained now. She's also 38 pounds now.

The trainers to adjust and aren't easy to pull down IMO. They seem more like a side snap pocket. They are super cheap too. If you already have inserts, then just order x amount and you get free shipping.

Re: Pockets for Large Toddlers?

Will do! I know they are quite a bit bigger than the alva OS. I saw a post somewhere, where a mom posted pictures of the OS and the big baby side by side with measurements and I cannot find it now For night time I spent a bit more because I have a HEAVY HEAVY wetter!! and got the overnight bamboo fleece fitteds from substainable babyish in an XL. 32lbs+ with a couple knit wool covers in a large which are 30-60lbs. I am hoping all of these work lol

Re: Pockets for Large Toddlers?

Here is my son in an xl sbish bamboo overnight fitted and then one with his large wool cover over it from sbish. Hes 37inches and about 38lbs The wool is a little big but still fits and he is on the smallest snaps for the diaper!

Re: Pockets for Large Toddlers?

XL rainshine designs worked for us until DD trained at about 42 lbs.

Re: Pockets for Large Toddlers?

The Alva big baby diapers are huge. My son is about 38lbs and we are having leaking issues around the legs. I'm still tweaking so I'll update again soon.

Re: Pockets for Large Toddlers?

I'd love an update on this thread! My 3 year old is daytime potty trained but a super soaker at night, and I'm having trouble finding something with a high rise and a ton of absorbency. If possible I'd love something easier to take on/off than fitteds and wool (because it is driving me NUTS to get him fully diapered and then claim he needs to use the bathroom again, so we have to get everything off and then back on again ... ugh!)

Re: Pockets for Large Toddlers?

My four year old is 41 lbs and 43 inches tall and my two year old is 36 inches and 32 lbs. Both will fit into a BG 4.0 and a new Thirsties pocket. My four year old is trained, but sometimes still has issues at night so I've used both on him.
