Ya know, I think it kinda depends on your diapers. I had the flu last week and my EBF DS stayed well except for frequent acidic poops that caused a bad rash. None of my CD safe go to solutions were working, so I used the 40% zinc oxide desitin. I use cotton flats and had zero issues washing out that stuff.

Another vote for CJ's butter. I have samples tubs all over my house- its nice not having to commit to one scent

I use Burt's Bees when necessary and haven't had any issues. I just make sure use a thin coat instead of globbing it on. I tried California Baby and ended up throwing it away after just a couple uses. Apparently my son is extremely sensitive to something in it. He would burst into tears immediately after it was applied. Stopped crying when I put two and two together and cleaned it off of him. Poor guy. I felt so bad that it took me a bit to figure out why he was so upset.

Re: Favorite CD safe rash cream

I used Burt's Bees with my last baby. This time I won a tube of Booty Goo on Facebook and was wondering about it. It does have zinc oxide, but so does the Burts Bees apparently. I never had any problems with the Burts Bees and used a variety of diapers....prefolds, flats, fitteds, pockets. He only had a rash once or twice though, so it wasn't like I used it for more than a few days. Anybody know anything about Booty Goo?
