question about wool wraps

i just got my first wool wrap through the mail, i got it so my so could just trifold our prefolds inside cause hes awful with snappi. i got it in a size medium and the weight started at 15lbs.from a wahm on etsy... this thing is HUGE! it seriously looks like it would fit my 5 yr old nephew! my son weighs almost 17lbs and can fit both of his legs with extra room through ONE leg whole. do all wraps run this big??? i only use upcycled and interlock wool covers normally. ugh im so dissapointed i was looking forward to trying out a wrap.

also what are some good trimmer wool wraps you would recommend for trifolding? i prefer side snapping

Re: question about wool wraps

Is it designed for trifolding or for use over a fitted diaper?

Re: question about wool wraps

I would return it. Sounds like the size is way off. I have had medium wraps and no way were they that big.

Return it. If you want a wool wrap you can trifold in look at Imse Vimse wraps or something similarly constructed ...interlock without stretch so the prefold doesn't shift all around.

Loveybums makes awesome wraps! I've never trifolded with them, but I think it would work. (they are def not huge, maybe even run small)

We love Loveybums wool wraps for front-snapping, and BabeeGreens for side-snapping. Both are fantastic quality and a great fit.

Re: question about wool wraps

Your cover sounds way too big. I use Imse Vimse wool covers (love the aplix, and the fact that you can wash them in the washer), and my 16-lb dd still fits in the size small cover, though she fits in the size medium now too. And I have a Babee Greens size medium cover too, which is stretchy, soft, and wonderful. Awesome!!!!
