Teaching textbooks? Math

Anyone use this program? I'm looking into it for my 3rd grader for next year. So far I have used horizons. And I like them. But my oldest does like computer work so I thought this might be good for us.

Re: Teaching textbooks? Math

Ha, I'm thinking about using Teaching Textbooks Math for my 3rd grader next year as well. I will be buying her the 4th grade level because I've heard they are about a grade behind and math comes very easy to my daughter.I hear there are some gaps but I'll just fill them in. I usually do anyway and supplement where needed, like maybe have her take a week off and do Kahn Academy. I like to keep things fun and new. IXL math (not free) but it drills for you like multiplication and division. I'll have a baby next year and will need a computer program to help me out even though I would love to teach her myself. I just don't want her to fall behind or be waiting on me to finish nursing and changing diapers. She can just knock out math before breakfast! Everyone I know who uses TT has liked it, just finding the right level is important.
