My Mood:
Flip trainers and prefolds

DS has outgrown the cloth options I have and is really no where near wanting to PL. I have been buying disposables for him for about 8 months now and I am really getting tired of it.

I am selling off my stash of cloth diapers and am really starting to miss cloth.

So, I was thinking of getting some Flip trainers but using prefolds in them until DS is really ready to start using the potty.

Does anyone have experience with this? I know that the shells and inserts have velcro to keep the inserts from slipping, but is this really an issue? Thanks!

Re: Flip trainers and prefolds

I don't think there would be an issue with that! And you can just change them normally like diapers since they snap on/off. You may have some wicking at the sides because they're just elastic, but I use them for my DD overnight just fine! Have you tried Bummis XL? They fit up to 45 pounds so may be a good option and a bit cheaper than Flips.
