Re: What's the easiest to keep clean?

I've found that I always come back to prefolds, folded and laid into a Thirsties cover. I also have a bunch of flannel liners (three layers of flannel serged around the edges in a contoured shape) that I lay on top of the prefold if he's due to poop. That way it will stain the liner which I don't care about, and keep the prefold nice and white. I never really even knew about flannel liners until I got some as an added bonus on something I got off FSOT here. I have two Thirsties covers that I've been getting by with. I change when they're poopy or wet, but usually I use one each day and wash at the end of the day.

Oh, and one of the best ways to help make sure you don't get stains is to rinse in cold before you wash in hot, that way the stains won't set.
