How much family cloth do you have?

I've been making family cloth & we've been going through it like crazy. We have 3 dozen right now. How much would you suggest for a family of 5?

I used to have 12 for each person for 2 days.
I'll me making some new ones after I move. I've got a super cute layer cake & 3 yards of baby loop terry that are screaming to be made into wipes/FC. I figure we normally fold our TP when we use it so even cutting the layer cake in 1/4s will be about the size of a TP square.

We stopped using FC a few months ago because I knew we were moving & I was super sick with morning sickness. Everyone was lucky to have clean clothes during me being sick.... Let alone clean butt wipes. lol

I've got about 2 dz that leave in the bathroom. But probably 4 dz I use as wipes. We use the cheapo washcloths from walmart as wipes. I use nicer wipes for myself.
Are you including wipes, or is everyone PL?

I use cloth wipes on my 7 month old. She's all stocked on wipes. It's the rest of us that use FC.

I would probably go with a dozen for each person like a PP said. Then go from there if you need more
Men probably need less though, my DH uses it sometimes but still reaches for that TP.

We don't have separate cloth for each person. I'm sure that's "gross" to some people. Yes DH uses less but we still had 4 dozen for the 4 of us.

I fill up a baby wipes container with DD's old baby washcloths cut in half. I guess that's about 2-3 dozen? Have to wash them every 3-5 days. This is just for me, though; DS has cloth wipes, and DH and DD don't do FC.

Not gross at all! I should have wordless it per person. I have no qualms with poop in my house. If it's clean I will wipe my face with it, don't care if it had previously wiped a butt

I'm the same. If it looks and smells clean, I'll use it for whatever I need it for.

Re: How much family cloth do you have?

Myself and my 2 dd's use fc and we have I think around 4 dozen and that lasts us about 3 days. I have a baby currently kicking my bladder so I'm peeing way more than I typically would lol. Those are only for the bathroom. Baby has his own stash of wipes that are bigger, since his messes will be bigger.
