Cloth and onesies

Is it possible!? I can't use a onesie over a cloth diaper without getting a leak. It's like the onesie wicks the moisture out. I'm sick of using disposables every time I want to put him in real clothes help!

What kind if diapers are you using? We use flats or prefolds in covers and never have a problem with onesies getting wet.

If your diapers give LO a very fluffy bum, try sizing up!

My LOs pretty much only wear onsies and pants and never had an issue.. I agree which diapers? do you have enough absorbency? Have you tried Onsies extenders... the Gerber ones I have work with most brands... I just use them when the neck hole looks stretched but it otherwise fits well.

Never had this problem with any of my kids. Maybe you need to size up the onesies?

Re: Cloth and onesies

Any chance your Little could be longer in the torso? My little girl is pretty long in the torso, and we outgrew onesies with cloth diapers within the first month or two of a given time range, i.e. we could wear 6-12 mo. onesies from 6-7 months with cloth diapers, and sometimes just slightly longer with disposables.

Re: Cloth and onesies

I never could make them work, unless I sized up two sizes - which wasn't a problem because her butt with the diaper was SO BIG that she needed two sizes up just to get her pants on. I HATE HATE HATE how big cloth butts are!
