Re: The EBAY thread

gah! Is it common practice to make an offer that is about half the asking price? I have an item listed at $45 with free shipping (which will cost me about $12 to ship-MFRB).
I got 2 offers, $23 and $25

LOL. really? That super sucks!

It was just listed yesterday so I think I have some time before agreeing to something really low.

Re: The EBAY thread

Thanks for all the great info! I've been toying with the idea of selling and you might've just given me the push I needed.

When I list a BIN item with best offer I use the parameters to automatically reject and accept certain offers. It saves me getting frustrated! Try using the parameters!

Try counter offering. Most times people are happy to barter. They'll go higher if you'll come down a bit.

Just venting... I just sold 4 EUC ME Sandy's Organic NB for $12.50 on ebay. Arrrghh!!!! I meant to list $12.50 each but I was multitasking (laundry, fixing DD's hair, and listing items on ebay) so there! Someone got an awesome deal! I'm down $37.50. Lesson learned.

That is so hard! I did something similar not long ago... and an item I meant to list at 9.99 sold for .99 ... not as huge a hit but still was .

Lessons learned.
