Re: FTM looking for Boppy Opinions

Get the My Breast Friend. The Boppy was not actually destined to be a breast feeding pillow but an infant lounger. Or just wait and see if you need it but if you have any latching problems like I did definitely get Breast Friend, all the lactation consultants recommend it. I had both as hand me downs and there was no comparison.

I use my boppy every so often, but never for breast feeding. I found that a plain pillow worked best for me.

Re: FTM looking for Boppy Opinions

I used the bobby for every feeding until maybe 4 - 6 weeks. It was sooooo helpful. DS is really long and now that we're at the 10 week point our new feeding position is him seated with his bottom between my legs puts him at the perfect height. He kind of hates laying down while awake though, even to eat. Still use Boppy for propping and it's awesome. Fits on my vanity and DS sits there watching me dry my hair

Re: FTM looking for Boppy Opinions

I have a Boppy that I've had my first son and another brand that someone bought me this time which has a seatbelt sort of thing in it for propping the baby up both of them are shaped the same way oh I also have the nursing pillow for motherlounge. The nursing pillow is too flat so if you're really short that might be good but I'm 5'3 and it's too short for me my baby. The Boppy and the other one with the seatbelt thing about about the same height and they're pretty firm but they're shaped like a c. I keep one in the car for places that have no good seat9ng. Baby is 17lbs at 4 months so hoding her up while nursing is not fun for 106lb me!
I hardly used it with my son but like it better this time. She likes to sit in it and watch her brother or TV while I use the toilet, change clothes, make plates, etc. Before anyone loses it over TV, she watches things her brother has on while I do stuff for 5 minutes. Then she screams.
