More milk plus and weaning from pump.

I've decided I'm not completely ready to wean yet, but I'm going to attempt weaning from the pump and feeding him while with him. I don't have a problem with oversupply at all-actually the opposite. Do you think it's wise to stay on a supplement like more milk plus while weaning from the pump?

I have been slowly weaning from pumping. I started just pumping when I felt really full (3/4 times a day), and I'm now down to twice a day and still collecting about 10-12 ounces. Not sure about supplements though.

Re: More milk plus and weaning from pump.

I'm just letting what happens happen and am sad about it. My supply has been low for months but I had a freezer stash we are supplementing from. I am pump weaning now and would pump 2x/day for the past 3 weeks (had been pumping 3x/day). I produced 2 oz/day last week. This week I go to 1x/day. I still plan on BF'ing when with LO. I haven't used any supplement like that.

I have just quit the pump and I can't tell you how happy I am about that. I still nurse when we are together. My daughter is 1 now so we have started with solids and cows milk also. So far so good!
