Any Idea

Where I can find a discount coupon to a local attraction?
My husband has a crazy work schedule so we are wanting to have a family weekend this comign weekend.....
So we are wanting to go to the Atlanta Aquarium...it is like $25 a person...we can pay that but I would rather not. So just wondered if any of you thrifty mamas had any ideas of where I could look

Call your local library and see if they have passes. Otherwise, AAA is the only one I found available online

Try calling the Aquarium and asking. Sometimes they have residents' only deals! If you can't find a discount for the tickets, pack lunches and drinks and save money that way!

Re: Any Idea

Sometimes if you have two adults going it is pretty much the same price to buy a year pass and then you can go again if you want to. We have done this a few times and it worked out quite nicely. We have done this with the science museum and the zoo in MN and I was able to take the kids another day by myself so it was worth buying the membership.

Do you have AAA? Sometimes places give a discount for that.

Re: Any Idea

We do have AAA so I didnt think of that...
And for a one day pass for the two of us and our daughter it would be $50 but for the year pass it is $130....so we are thinking about just doing the year pass but we kinda wish we could look around first. Thanks for the ideas though ladies

Re: Any Idea

I second calling the local library, I know ours has passes available to nearby attractions - museums, aquariums, etc. Good luck and have fun! Oh and someone told me the other day to google coupon and the name of whatever and usually there's a coupon or discount for anything you can imagine so you could try that if you haven't already.
