But don't know what to do with it!
I was given 3 packages of cream cheese, it was frozen but my daughter put it away in the fridge so it thawed and I need to use it today or tomorrow. I'll need to use it in something that is cooked because it is not creamy anymore - I can't make dip or anything like that. And I don't have any sweetener in the house except honey so no cheese cake. It doesn't spread so I can't put it on sandwiches. What can I do with it? Anyone have a pasta recipe? I'm clueless! ![]() Advertisement

Re: I got some free cream cheese.........
Pound 4 chicken breasts flat, put 1 oz cr. cheese in the middle. Cut fresh chives and sprinkle on top of the cream cheese. Roll it up, wrap 2 pieces of bacon around it and fasten with toothpics. Mix 1 can cr. chicken soup, 1/2 cup mayo, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tsp. lemon juice, salt and pepper, pour over chicken breasts and bake for about 45 minutes at 350*
I also like to make instant garlic mashed potatoes and stir cream cheese into them, sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bake until the cheese is bubbly. You could add it to cheese soup. You can make dips with them, if they're hot dips. Like cream cheese and salsa or chili, warmed.

Re: I got some free cream cheese.........
Hooray for free cream cheese!!!
![]() Cheese Cake Cupcakes by Lora Preheat oven to 350 Line muffin pans with aluminum cupcake liners. Mix: 2 boxes softened cream cheese 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. lemon juice Lay 1 vanilla wafer in the bottom of each muffin liner. Spoon mixture on top of wafers in muffin liners until each are 1/2 full. Bake until light brown. Check them continually after 3 minutes. Let cool when baked, then fill to top of muffin cup with pie filling. It makes a beautiful tray if you use maybe cherry on some, peach on some and another flavor in the rest. Re: I got some free cream cheese.........
You can make a very yummy cooked dip with it. (I have made this with cream cheese from the freezer it works fine)
1 cup canned artichoke hearts or frozen artichoke hearts, chopped 8 ounces cream cheese 1/4 C. Mayonnaise (do not use Miracle Whip) 1/2 cup spinach, chopped, thawed 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, Grated 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder pepper crackers chips bread, toasted Soften cream cheese. mix cream cheese, mayo, than mix spinach parmasian cheese (save some to sprinkle on top) and salt, garlic and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until the top is browned. Serve with toasted bread crackers or tortilla chips Everyone I know loves it when I make this it is very easy and oh soo yummy

Mmmmm, potato soup!!!! I just made AWESOME potato soup from the $5 meal thread and finished it Sunday night. I might make another batch. It tasted just like a baked potato with sour cream and cheese. Oh GOD was it good!

Re: I got some free cream cheese.........
I know you said you didn't have any sugar, but I had to share this awesome recipe!!
Peanut Butter Mouse 8 oz. soft cream cheese 2 cups powdered sugar 1-1/2 cups of peanut butter 3/4 cup milk 15 oz. cool whip thawed 1 tsp vanilla Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add sugar and peanut butter and blend well. Slowly add milk. (you may reduce the amount slightly for a firmer filling) and mix well. Fold in cool whip and vanilla. cover and freezer for a couple hours to set.
