Coupons

So here's my story. Most of the foods we purchase are generic. We seldom purchase brand names and I'm trying my best to stay away from processed foods.(give me a moment while I stop from laughing at that one )

Almost every time I get the Sunday paper I think how I might be saving more with coupons. We have on occasion used a coupon here and there but I always wonder if I could be saving more by using a coupon and hitting up a sale.

My questions are the following: Are coupons worth is? How do I begin to amass a bunch of coupons? How should I categorize them?
