Have I gone too far???

we have Breyer's yogurt here at the house...the kind with the foil lid. I was washing one out for recycling, and I noticed that it's a #5 plastic, and I can't recycle those. I was bummed out, because I didn't want to throw it away, but I couldn't really think of a use for it without a lid.

Then I remembered that the kids need some new drinking cups, and I thought it would make a perfect little cup for Tommy, who is four.

Have I officially lost it???
