Re: Does your DC do acrobatics while you nurse?
I am catching myself giggling reading all these posts, but at the same time it kinda makes me a little scared to try nursing with the next one. Hmmm....my boys are part monkey anyway, I can't imagine them having one of my nipples in their mouth!

Re: Does your DC do acrobatics while you nurse?
Now Hannah has taken to patting my boob when she nurses. She rubs her sweet little hand across it and then starts patting to hear the slapping noise and watch it jiggle.
I actually find it very cute.what I don't find cute is that she's already biting me. She has no teeth, but gums are hard! The first time she did it, I yelped and scared the crap out of her, poor thing. |

Haha, this thread made me chuckle.
Kolten is the same way. He usually does pretty good when NAK, but most of the time I have a hand flying in front of my face, up my nose, in my mouth, trying to poke my eyes, or pulling my hair. I've started gently grabbing his hand and telling him to be nice. So far its working pretty good, as soon as I grab his hand, he puts it at his side. Not sure how long that'll last, but its working for now. Normally the only time he does the acrobatics is when we're laying on the bed or when we're on the couch, he has more free space and most of the time I find him nursing upside down. Glad to know I'm not the only one either, LOL.

Re: Does your DC do acrobatics while you nurse?
She's 10 months old and has been doing this for 2 months. I cannot get her to stay on for the life of me. Biting, flipping, smacking, off and on, etc. I was hoping to make it to a year. We'll see.

Re: Does your DC do acrobatics while you nurse?
some of these posts had me
ds is only six months but im now finding that i can no longer eat, nak, read or be around other people while he is nursing! the hands and legs are in constant motion! the top hand is usually petting/smacking my other boob, pulling hair, sticking fingers in my/his mouth etc! the top foot/leg acts like another hand by pushing on stuff and kicking. the thing that helps is folding his legs like he goes in the sling adn keeping an arm on them! if im in public i have a "Go Go Gadget Extenda-Boob" as ascrhrimp says

I have a cute picture of Tanner nursing yoga-style. One of the joys of nursing a toddler!

Re: Does your DC do acrobatics while you nurse?
If Zander knows I'm trying to NAK, he'll bring his legs up over my arm so I'll snuggle his legs rather then type!! & when we lay down to nurse, he's all over the place... I just try to keep the nipple safe!

Re: Does your DC do acrobatics while you nurse?
When my ds was very small we called him monkey boy because he would wrap his legs around my arm like a tree branch. Now he all over the place upside down, standing up. I am waiting for him to do a complete circle. Whenever he gets in weird position I always say to my husband "I bet you find thid position in any BF book. It is funny how much time we spend with newborn doing one of three holds with exact detail. My ds new thing is to grap my nipple on the other side (kinda of pinching).

Re: Does your DC do acrobatics while you nurse?
LOL, I can totally relate x 2. I get double acrobatics! And not only that, but my twins poke each other in the eyes, pull each others hair, pinch each other and me, scratch, etc...
