Nicki's Diapers small white cotton flat weighed in at 8 oz.

Has anyone tested a Flip cotton insert? (A Flip flat)

Sweet Iris medium clocked in at a whopping 11 ounces. WOW!

I'm using the same method described in the first post by Pixie.

I'm not surprised; I padfold Sweet Iris larges, which are the next size up from the medium, into my BG 4.0's, and they are amazingly absorbent for my heavy wetter who soaks everything. And I've used the extra larges for over a year now for all 3 of my boys and now my 5 and 7 year old have outgrown the xs Motherease Bedwetters' absorbency but not the Sweet Iris XLs with a doubler.

How bulky are the larges in your 4.0's? I'm looking for a stuffer for my 4.0's.

Re: Absorbency of various bamboo, hemp, & Microfiber inserts

So I tried this today with the kids. Our results:

Gerber Small Flannel Receiving Blanket (the ones that come 4 to a pack)- 7 oz.

Megaroos Extended Tab Prefold in Sz M- 8.5 oz.

That was lots of fun. Thanks for giving us the idea.

Can someone check a MEOS?
