A longies lament
I would desperately love to have a pair of multicolored longies for DS. However, we both have reactions to wool of any kind.

Re: A longies lament
Acrylic works pretty well for daytime
I've even found some really soft, varigated/rainbow acrylics that aren't a bit scratchy. Bernat has one called Softee Chunky that when knit on sz 7 or 8 needles instead of the suggested US10 works great.

You can either try acrylic or I also have been told that organic wool is good for people that are allergic?? I'm not sure how true that is, its just what I've heard from others. It might be worth looking into.

Re: A longies lament
i also agree - acrylic isn't back. cotton obviously wouldn't be waterproof, but there's no reason why you couldn't have a pair of cotton longies to use as just pants.

Re: A longies lament
If you like the look, just put the cotton or acrylic ones over a pocket or aio diaper. I know the acrylic needs to be washed more often and is not good for nighttime. HTH!
