going crazy at night help

So we use a mixture of prefolds and homemade fitteds with covers. I have two fuzzibunz which we are using at night double stuffed with prefolds and a microfiber towel. None of this is working for us at night. We haven't had any leaks, but as soon as my son feels wet he wakes up. He is a heavy wetter to so we are changing him about every two hours around the clock. I need sleep so what do you all recommend for this? I am at a total loss, and will spend anything at this point.

Hmmm... he shouldn't "feel" wet in a Fuzzi Bunz. Maybe put a microfleece liner in there to keep his skin feeling dry? Have you tried diapers with a suedecloth inner? IME suedecloth stays feeling dry longer than microfleece.

Gosh I don't know what to say, I have a heavy wetter, and I use either LittleMs Nighter Dider (kari is a great wahm) or Leobaby04 (sherri-another great mom) nighttime inserts and they both work great

I have found hemp to be the amazing night wonder!
Personally I use Little Lounging Lizard's Nighty Newts. They are a 9 layer hemp trifold. I also use a small microfiber on top. I just think that hemp absorbs more than cotton.
Many people will use 2 Joey Bunz too. I bet this is a little trimmer than my option. But I've NEVER had a leak. HTH.

Some people use wool or silk liners.
