I'm not sure what it is but I had that with DD really really bad and my hands/arms would go numb
Sleeping w/your arms above your head might help I see your having twins....CONGRATS!

Thanks to everyone for all the great replies and congrats!!!
I went in for an OB visit today and mentioned this, she recommended the arm braces and sent me home with two.

i had a similar problem in the last month of my second pregnancy ... thankfully it went away on its own a few weeks after dd was born. i think my midwife said something about eating extra protein to help ... but it's been a year and now i have pregnancy brain w/ #3 so i don't know for sure. but it did go away on its own pretty quick after the baby was born. good luck
