Any one have this car seat graco
We are getting a newborn foster son on thur or friday and I need a new seat.
I want to know what people think of it the bigger size

We had a snugride graco ones, not the same style.. But recent 2004&2005... I like Graco... And they were very durable.. My DH's aunt is currently using them for her twins when they arrive in Sept..

The Graco safeseat is well worth the extra money! I would definitely purchase one again! It is so much better than the snugride carseats! My youngest ds will actually be able to use his more than 3-4 months like my previous kiddos!

Sheesh! What took them so long!! My first outgrew the infant seat at 4mo.. I would have loved to have one that held 30lb! I had a SnugRide for Torrin and Eliana, very happy with it.

I had evenflo seats for Aidan and Kieran, they were great too. The main differences I noticed were the size and shapes of the seats, which mostly just affected how it fit in our vehicles. We had evenflo seats when we had our Jetta as they are generally shorter and wider. Then we got Graco seats for our Altima as they tend to be longer and narrower and fit better when we had 3 carseats in the back seat.

I don't have one of these either, but was considering one for my new baby girl due in December. I liked that the have the heftier weight limit on them, but then I remembered that both my other kiddos never went past the 20 lb weight limit until their 1st birthday's.

I also remembered how much I HATED carrying the infant seat around without using the stroller (like for a trip into a restaurant, or the grocery store) after the kids reached a certain weight. Those seats get to be HEAVY (at least for me). I do LOVE Graco and have a seat that I'll use with the new baby, but I'm having second thoughts about this one just because of my own personal issues. Also, I met a lady at church who did have one and asked her how she liked it. She said her biggest complaints were the weight (of the seat) and size (it's bigger than the standard Graco Snugride). She also said that if you need a second base for a second car, they are unavailable for purchase as of yet (but they are coming). She didn't like that they couldn't buy the extra base for her hubbies car and had to use the seat in his car without the base whenever baby rode with him. Overall she was pleased with the seat and she plans to buy the second base whenever they come out (she said hopefully by this winter). Hopes this helps some............

most of my kids hit the height limit before the weight
Since we do foster care we get it all 4 pounds and up
I think this one is 6 pounds
