It might be a one time deal though, I thought I was getting AF at 7-8 weeks. It didn't last very long and hasn't been back since, DS will be 6 mos tomorrow. Hoping its not really AF for you cause that just stinks.

Yeah I agree with PP I had 9 months before i got Af and now I have had no af since may. just one af since the birth of my son. I guess each person is different.....hey look at it this way at least you aren't Pregnant again

Both of my children are BF. DD was EBF and I bled for 6 mos strait

and DS is now 4.5 months and nothing yet and I have to supplement ! You just never know what mother nature has in store. Best of luck!!

I got mine back around 8 weeks after DD was born, and she was EBF. I have three friends who conceived when their babies were 5-6 months old and EBF! So much for not being able to get pregnant while nursing, eh?

Ugh, I was lucky not to get mine back until 6 months pp. My best friend got hers back at 2 months though and her son is EBF.

I breastfed DS from birth-20 months and got my period back when he was 16mos. The next cycle I found out I was PG with our DD. She's 4mo old now and I EBF her too and got my period back at 6 weeks!

I was so psyched to have no period again for over a yr too.

Oh well.. not all bad I guess... in the past 3 yrs I've only had a few periods if you think about it lol

Just weird though... DS took 16 months to get AF
DD took only 6 weeks!

My son did nurse a LOT more though... he nursed for comfort even when he wasn't hungry... never could get him to take a pacifier.

I got AF at 15 weeks pp, and it's been like clockwork since. I have heard that you can be really irregular once you start, so maybe you may not have anything more for a few months!
