What is the earliest a doc can tell if you're pregnant?
I have an appt on Friday with my MW/OB's office to make sure that my uterus has gone back to normal after my m/c. Usually after things get wonky, it takes my body a few months to get back to a regular cycle.
However...I'm pretty sure I actually ovulated this cycle because I had the same kinds of pains and signs as I did last cycle when I ovulated...this month it was sometime around the 15th/16th. We did DTD around that time, at least once on the 14th and once on the 17th. Maybe in between...I can't remember when. The reason I ask, though, is that I'm having little twinges in my uterus/pelvic that feel similar to the last cycle when I implanted...I had implantation bleeding so I know when it was. I had the twinges for a day or so before the bleeding started. So...if I did get pregnant this cycle, would they be able to tell at my appt on Friday? Should I be worried about having them feel around up there at my appt? Should I ask for a blood test? Would it even be early enough to tell?

Well, if you really did ovulate this cycle around the 15th/16th, you'd be about 10DPO right now, by Friday 13DPO. Thats not even too early to get a positive home test, I would ask for a blood test to be sure. Make sure you mention to your MW that you think you could possibly be pregnant.

I would for sure tell them that you may be pregnant, and I wouldn't want them to check me internally, especially if you've had a m/c in the past. I too would ask for a blood test. Hope you are mama!
