in-need-of repair dipes? I have a ton of fitteds with shot elastic as well as some random covers I'd love to send them if they can use them. Anyone know?

They sure do! Ruth fixes them up if they have shot elastic or other issues and makes them as pretty as she can and then donates them to families in need. There's a page on her site that states this:
Q: Will you be accepting seconds? used? diapers made from recycled materials?
A: All donations are accepted. If diapers are worn I will make repairs if salvageable. Even thin worn out cloth prefolds can be used as doublers. I live in a pet-free smoke-free home, since I don't require that of my donors, I wash all donations.
