Doctor had to move up the due date cause he was TOO big - so your tummy size isn't an indicator of baby size

I don't wear maternity clothes and 9 our of 10 people either don't think I am pregnant and want to argue with me about it or think I'm like 2 months along at max.
First off, you have SUCH a sweet little belly! Gorgeous! But second. ... . . . .ummmmmm. . . . . are those pre-pregnancy jeans? I'm just 20 weeks and I"m a HOUSE compared to you and you are nearly done! Just a teensy bit jealous over here!

Re: Is it normal...

Thanks ladies. I have an OB appointment tomorrow. I am going to ask that I get an ultrasound just to be sure. I still feel her in there moving all around and having a good 'ol time.

Here are some pictures for those who asked:

24 weeks through 27 weeks (sorry about the undies pic)

You look like you're growing to me, mama!

Have your midwife/OB measure you, I think you look great for 27 weeks!

Christie, you look goregous!

Just remember it's very possible that she's growing up rather than out, kwim? Have you had any ab/muscle stretching? I noticed my ribs were on FIRE for like a week when he was growing up even though he looks the same as he did a handful of weeks in there.

Yeah, pre-pregnancy jeans... I transitioned into maternity around 3 months because of discomfort, but he's no longer sitting IN my uterus... so I'm back now to my non-maternity

I wish I was a bit bigger honestly - even though I'm gaining the weight, I've got such a small frame that my back hurts like hell all the time... not to mention I am sick of people looking at me in disbelief that I'm 8 months Or the best comment ever (from my 14 year old sister): "Ashley, omg you have a belly but absolutely no butt!!" And she dies laughing. *sigh*

Don't worry, I'm sure I'll either be huge with one the second time around or end up with twins.

Uh- you look like I looked at 39 weeks! That baby looks GREAT! (I think you are shorter than I am though). I have a long torso so dd hid in there pretty good. Everyone gave me crap about being small...

Out of curiosity how much do you actually weigh? How much weight have you gained so far? We look kinda in the same boat.

Well, I had an appointment today and it made things seem much better! This is the history of my weight loss/gain during my pregnancy:

Weight at start of pregnancy: 142 lbs
1 month appointment: 138 lbs
2-3 month appointment: 136 lbs
4 month appointment: 140 lbs
5 month appointment: 144 lbs
6 month appointment: 150 lbs

So...I lost a lot and I am starting to gain it back at the rate I should, but I have only gained a total of 8 lbs so far and I am almost 7 months along. I start going to the OB every 2 weeks now, so I am sure they are keeping and eye on it. They have been for a while, but I was just more concerned then they seemed to be (which is somewhat always the case). Hopefully things are back on track now.

Thanks for all the support, mamas. Being a first timer I feel like my concerns can be crazy sometimes.
