Diaper Swappers

Okay, I am not sure about this, but I just read that a deo disk can last 3-4 weeks in the diaperpail? I thought they only worked for a week or so. I put them under the bag in my pail since I just have a regular six gallon pail. Am I doing something wrong. The odors at times is what makes me change the deo disks.

I tape mine to the lid. They usually last us about two weeks before the pail starts smelling (bad). I would guess how long they last depends on the conditions - where the pail is (heat/humidity), how much dc poos, how much ammonia is in their urine, how long you go between washings, etc.

I've never had one last too long even putting it on the lid of the can....its what made me figure out my own "concoction" for the pail!

Mine seem to last about a week or so, putting them into the little built-in pocket in my wetbag. Maybe 2 weeks, but I can't imagine 3-4...
