So it will get better as time goes by. Just don't drive yourself crazy trying to keep him from crying at all. It won't hurt him to cry in a safe place for a few minutes while you do something.
Oh My!!!! I still have a year of this?

Re: Crying Baby!!! HELP!!

Isn't he the one that was spitting up/throwing up a lot?? I was just wondering if he could possibly have reflux or tummy issues going on??

My ds wasn't a happy baby either and it was tough, so I feel your pain.

Yeah he's the one but he's pretty much stopped with the vomiting. But this crying has been since before all the vomiting. I thought about the reflux also but I honestly believe that it's because he wants to be carried all the time.

He could have silent reflux, they don't spit up at all when they have that. He likes to upright?? Does he sleep well??

What makes you think it's becaue he wants to be carried all the time.....not trying to be rude, I am just trying to help you figure it out

Re: Crying Baby!!! HELP!!

No offense taken. He usually sleeps good at night except last night. He was up from about midnight until 6am. He was crying all night. The reason I feel like he just wants to be carried is because I try everything and the only way he's happy is if he's carried. I make sure he's changed, fed, nothing poking at him nothing bothering him. I tried Tylenol in case something was hurting him and nothing. He only gets quiet when Im holding him/

Well I don't know about teething. He was born with his bottom teeth and they're completely out now so I don't think that's it. As far as gas I don't think it's that either. He passes gas well and I give him gas drops but to me it just seems like he wants to be held.

Re: Crying Baby!!! HELP!!

I don't do CIO, but I do make Munchkin wait nearby while I cook (I refuse to wear her or hold her near the hot stove) or if I need to switch the laundry. She was not impressed when she was little, but I usually put her where she can see me and I talk to her the whole time about how she's helping Mama and whatnot. If she's crying, I talk louder. Now she can pretty much chill on her own for 20 minutes watching me do something and she's started "talking back" to my chatter.

There is nothing wrong with letting them cry for a minute or two while you get something done. They are little, yes, but as they get older, they can wait a minute or two or three. Then you can pick them up.
