Very cool...I had no idea how far back the whole wool thing was....I guess we know it was atleast the 1950's.....(I mean CUTE wool BTW....)

My mom's friend in her knitting group is well into her 80s. When my MOm showed off what she was making, the lady was shocked that "people still use those" and said, "Gosh, I could still make a soaker in about two hours. that pattern is still perfectly etched in my brain, b/c I've made so many!"
