FB question

My DS is still VERY comfortably in mediums at 8 mo and going on 20 lbs - we're only on the 2nd snap out of 4. I see FB's on the FSOT board and if I see good deals, I'm apt to try to pick up a few larger sizes for when he gets to them.

My question is - should I look for Larges or PTs? How is the fit different? Why choose one over the other since the size overlaps so much?

My son is pretty tall and skinny, not very chunky at all, will that make a difference?

TY!

Re: FB question

If he is already tall and lean I would just buy petites. I bought larges when I started for my then 20 mo. old and now have a few petites and they fit so much better. He is nearly 27 mos now and petites fit on the tightest waist snap and next to tightest hip snap unless it is overstuffed for overnight. I really wish I would have known how they would fit because I would have gone with petites instead, he is 38" tall and 30 lbs. hth

Re: FB question

We started with larges and finally went to petites. The fit is SO much better! Large are too wide. Petite are like medium but longer (or so I hear) Jonah is 2.5 and weighs 30ish lbs. Very tall. Id pick up petite if I were you.

Re: FB question

I have skinney toddlers.... We never have been able to use Lg. (tried w/ 3 diff. children) But the PT works well for us! They are longer in the rize And not so Wide

That said, I have a bright yellow Lg avail. if anyone needs one!
And a Med Navy one too!!

Re: FB question

Like others have said, I'm guessing you'll be happiest with a PT. My almost 16 month old is about 25.5 pounds and about 34.5 inches or so. He still fits in a medium just fine, but they're getting to be kinda low-rise. We have one large we bought to test fit, and it's huge!

We'll have to go with PT. I understand it has a longer rise like a large, but tighter settings for the snaps.

Re: FB question

It's all about the thighs. The petites are snug in the thighs so good for tall skinny babies and kids

Re: FB question

Wish I had known about PT before! DD is about 28lbs at only 13.5 months old (but tall). I figured for sure she'd need Larges...but the Larges are too big in the waist (we can get them tight enough in the thighs though).
