The Baby Wearer has lots of carriers on FSOT for a great price. You'd probably like a structured carrier with a sturdy waist belt, like an Ergo or Yamo. MT's are good too, but I find that I get better weight transfer with a SSC belt.

A Moby probably isn't a good idea for you...a strechy wrap is not very supportive (but perfect for newborns). If you want to try a wrap, you can try a DIY version using crinkle cotton (see TBW for more advise on that).

Re: Back killing me, ring sling not wrkin what to use???

Ohhh this is a thread for me.

I love to BW and I do it daily.
I have MTs, Wraps, RSs, Pouches and SSC.
I love all my carriers and I neeeeeed all of them.

I use a carrier depending on what I am doing, where I am going, How long I will be wearing and the big one...how many children will I be wearing.

If I wear 2 at once I will use:
a SSC(ergo or patapum) and a MT
a wrap and SSC
a wrap and a wrap RS

I love all my carriers but I couldnt say which is better. I love my wraps for the snuggle factor and versatillity. I love my SSC for the ease of use. I love my MTs because they are light and so pretty and so easy to adjust (I can easily wear 2 and BF one of them when I am wearing my Ms)

But I would like to help you work out why your RS is killing you back...I love my RSs and can wear all of my girls in mine without pain so I am wondering if maybe a postion adjustment would help? Can you post a pic?
