Question stuck on Ergo

Just trying to figure out if I should try something else... I've had a bad back for years and I'm so afraid of trying something other than Ergo. The reason I really love our ergo is all of the weight sits on my hip bones instead of my sholders. Any suggestions Mama's or should I just stick with our good old ergo?

I've got an older generation one that's been so used the past 2 years it's coming apart at the belt..

I don't know what an Ergo is, but if you're talking about carriers we have a snugli that has a backbrace attached to it...it's sits right on my lower back when i backcarry and right on my stomach when i front carry....I have a bad back too and this works good for me, except i still can't carry too long...My lower back pops out 2 days after Chiro just picking up kids and doing laundry..lol

I LOVE the ergo and am about to buy a second one. But there are also lots of other soft structure carriers that are super cute! Some people like Becos. (Never tried them!) I like the look of Adiago Baby ones on hyena cart. Can't go wrong with another ergo, though, and there are lots more colors now!

Yamo! Yamo's have a great waist belt, too.

I would NOT recommend a snugli type, even with the 'back support'. Sungli's are not comfy for you or babe.
