Snacks/drinks for labor??

We are heading to the store today and I'd like to pick up my snacks and drinks for labor. Just wondered what everyone else liked when they were in labor. With my ds1 I had to induced and couldn't eat or drink anything.

Thanks

I got flavored water (the WM brand) and trail mix with lots of nuts and fruit.

I didn't end up wanting the flavored water, only tap water, but the trail mix was great. I also ate a HUGE bowl of cereal.

I hope everything goes great this time around!!!

I am going with some flavored waters cause I can't drink plain water , and then some trail mix with lots of dried fruit in it , I would like to hit a bulk health food store so I can make up my own mix .

The hospital provided us with snacks. I ate a lot of graham crackers with peanut butter. Oh, and jello too.

Re: Snacks/drinks for labor??

I loved those fruit to go thingies.... I ate them with ds #1 and #2 but with #3 it was too fast so I ate nothing until after.

I loved my own water bottle with half frozen water so it was super cold. Other than that I pretty much just ate and ate after I gave birth. Anything Chocolate and my favorite was a huge sub sandwich.

Trail mix is great to have on hand too.
make sure you don't forget your hubby, he will be pretty hungry too and you don't want him eating all of yours, so bringing him something of his favorites is always nice.
