any flats users?

I'm thinking of trying some flats, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me their experience. I have a toddler, and I don't mind folding.

I LOVE my flats. They're fun to fold and snappi. I just use a stay dry doulber or another flat with a liner as a doubler and then put the cover on over it.

I'm thinking of trying infant prefolds as doublers too. I also fold them to fit the liner of my little g pants.
Pros:
Fun to fold
Wash and dry quickly as they're only one layer
As trim as a sposie, I'd dare say even trimmer
Economical - can be folded to fit a newborn as well.
Breathable if DC has a rash.

Cons:

Not very absorbant so have to change more often

I have a 14 month old and they work just fine on him. He's napping in one as I type.

I LOVE flats!!!
I have hemp flats that are super absorbant, and i have flannel flats that are super soft.... Then i have birdseye flats as well, that are super trim. I usually double theseup...

But i admit, as much as I love flats, I am loving my pockets right now. I am sure though I will be back to flats before too long....

Good to know. I was thinking flats might be good for the rest of the summer. It won't really cool down here until mid October. I might make a few. I have flannel and hemp terry.

I love them. I double up if I want more absorbtion. I leave them single if I want her little bum to breathe. They're super easy to wash and dry in about 2 hours.
