aplix is much softer than touch tape. Touchtape is harder to unfasten than aplix and cheaper than aplix. The hook part of the aplix and touchtape to me look the same but the loop parts (soft part) looks different, aplix loop looks like it has lines in it. Make sense?

Re: aplix and touch tape

aplix is waaay softer, and it also looks a bit different if you stick it really close to your face and look at the loop part. especially since a lot of his diapers fold over at the waist, i really wish more were made from aplix, since its so soft, cecause then he wouldnt be scratched and i also wish people who made diapers would know what the difference is and not just think that aplix is another name for touchtape, and that it really is something different because ive gotten a couple where people say aplix, and its not, and it drives me nuts. not trying to be rude, so i hope it doesnt come across that way, but really...

velcro is a type of hook and loop closure... what we were saying above is aplix is a brand name as well. not a different type, though it is made slightly different, it is the same idea of closure. make sense?
