LOL! Well my DD was the same way, but then she wouldn't go on the potty. She is now almost 3 years old and screams and cries if I even suggest she sit on the potty. I figure that she will use the potty when she is ready.

If you think your DD is ready though then just have her sit on the potty every like hour on the hour (and 30 min. after every meal), because that will allow her to go on it when she needs to, plus this will allow her to realize that the potty is for using the bathroom in. Also use lots of praise. That worked for my DD for 3 days in a row, but then she kinda regressed.

Re: DD is showing interest in the potty..NOW WHAT??

We've been letting DD#1 run around stark naked for nearly 2 moths. Her potty stayed out in the living room for awhile so it was close so she could use it. It's since been put in her room and she's getting better about running in there when she's got to go. Lately she's even been announcing "Go pee pee! Be right back, no move!" We're still working on the night time thing, and we still haven't gotten the actually telling us when she has to go thing down. So bedtime and leaving the house still require a pull-up. Oh how I love not having nasty poopy toddler diapers anymore.

ETA: At first she was deathly afraid to poop on the potty. A few rounds of being plugged up and spending an hour nearly strapped to the potty by me cleared that up. Not to mention the 15 minutes of praise and then a few chocolate chips (like the ones used for chocolate chip cookies). Now she proudly poops in the potty and even comes and tells us to wipe her butt.

Re: DD is showing interest in the potty..NOW WHAT??

we were bad and did the bribe thing. my dd wanted to use the potty, but started out not very consistent so i told her when she tts on the potty she'll get 2 m&ms, if she poops on the potty she'll get 4 m&ms. well that was all it took. she started peeing on the potty and once she saw that she would get a reward for peeing on the potty but not when she peed in her panties, the diaper or the floor she started using the potty consistently. it took a little longer for the poops to go into the potty but i kept reminding her that she would not get m&ms when she poops in her diaper or panties.
she was trained in 1 week, by 2 weeks i felt comfortable enough with her to leave the house without diapers. we never even used trainers. i bought one but didn't end up using it! no, she doesn't ask for m&ms when she potties anymore. we cut those back and she was without treats for pottying after 1 month.
