interpreting the EPT(edited)

I bought the 'high speed' EPT today to find out...the digital reader is broke...go figure, but when I eject the strip out there is one dark line and one kinda light. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before and if those work like the other normal ones? If so, then I guess I'm preggers! I have some mixed emotions about it since DH is leaving Saturday to Iraq for a year, but what will be will be, right?


**So, I took another simple test today...I let it sit for a while and it looked neg...but then about another hour later I can see the other line faintly...??? Does this mean it's pos then?

If you just mean the digital type tests, you are not supposed to believe any results NOT shown by the digital readout, KWIM? So if there are two lines on that test strip that you pulled out, you aren't to believe that you are pregnant. I would just use a cheapo one (to save you the money this time, LOL) and test using that - since those directions are easier to deal with.
Sorry - I don't want to tell you you're NOT pregnant, but I would go out and get a regular cheapo type test and try that one instead. GL!

The thing is, the Commissary where we live only carried that one...I'm going to the PX tomorrow and see what they have.

Digi preg tests will always have 2 lines on the stick whether you're pregnant or not. Sorry you didn't get results from the only test you could buy... How frustrating.

Have you checked out what they said on http://peeonastick.com? As the PP said, digital tests always have 2 lines. But maybe there's more info on there that can help?

Take another one with FMU (do you know how late AF is?) if AF is more than 18 days late you *should* get a positive line within 3 minutes if not...it was probably evap lines. Also was the PG line the right color (pink or blue, depending on the test) or just faint and grey? If it's the right color you may be PG if it is not- you are probably not.

Only count it as a BFP if it's within the time limit. That doesn't really sound like it is in the time limit. I'd take another one - with FMU like Melynda said - if it doesn't show up within the time limit then I'd say you're not pg, or it's too early. Good luck!
