just wanted to add, ds hasn't been sleeping and has been clutching my nursing necklace now for four days.... in and out of the tub, in the wrap, in the car, in a cart at Kroger... one old lady said, "you should never let a baby play with a necklace!!!" i was like, oh yeah, YOU take it away from him... LOL

maybe it smells like mama...

how fashionable/purty does it need to be ... you could just put it on when you nurse, then take it off. Why don't you get a long cord and then you could put on different charms, pendants, etc. ... do you have a local bead store? have fun!

Awww, thanks! I love reading birth stories (and I love when people read mine ) I try to be extremely humble about it, but I'm really proud of my daughters birth. It was the hardest, most important work I will ever do!
