nono, diapers need to be washed on hot -- I meant the prints are not meant to be washed on hot.

About the pilly-ness, I fabric shaved a couple pilly diapers and it seemed to help them from becoming as pilly again.

I don't even own a fabric shaver, but the pills are soooo teeny I don't even think that they could be shaved off. Here's a pic

I think those could be shaved with an electric shaver. I've shaved sweatpants with similar fuzzballs.

Looks like what happened when I put my PFs in the dryer with a couple of T-Shirts the other day... PFs seem to put out a lot of lint that sticks to other clothes. I don't know if that's what happened here.

I'd be a little bummed about print fading, but honestly all my knit fitteds have faded somewhat (not just GMs, I only have 1 print GM!, but even PWs and BBLs.) It's just something that is going to happen from washing and drying on hot. If I washed a black T-shirt on hot it would probably be green in no time flat. It's just the nature of the fabric, like PPs have said.

Personally, I don't mind the fading. I love the stretchiness of jersey/interlock fabrics, and I'd much rather have a faded stretchy fitted than a faded woven (non-stretchy) one.

But if you do decide to sell, PM me, girl! ETA: NM, I just realized they are all girly prints!

I think fading and piling is just something you must accept when you buy diapers with a printed knit outer. Some fabrics hold up way better than others though. I have some mutts with knit outers that have been used a bunch but show no signs of wear. I think the only way to avoid all the piling and fading is buying diapers with woven outer fabric. I just don't like how woven doesn't have any stretch to it.
