Diaper Swappers

I just got some new FB from NurturedFamily and they say that to keep the fleece super-soft, you shouldn't wash them with any "natural" fabrics. Do you really wash FBs, etc separate from cotton pfs, flannel wipes, etc.??! That seems crazy, but I do love how soft they are now and have some older ones that aren't nearly so soft ... should I just get over the fact that they'll never be so soft again? Or wash separate?

Any other tips?? Thanks mamas!!

I only used FBs for a while and sadly, even if you was them with no natural fabrics, they loose that buttery softness. Can't remember when it happened, but it does. Mine are still soft thought, and I wash them with everything, just not buttery soft. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But you will LOVE nurtured family's inserts (did you get those?) they are my absolute fav., they made me wonder what the big fuss was over CB inserts

When I got my first "brand new" dipe, a HH, I was told to line dry it to keep the inside soft. But then they tell you to dry in the dryer to seal the PUL, so I line dry it sometimes and dryer it sometimes. It is still soft, but not quite as soft as when I got it.

Fleece will never be as soft as when you first get it no matter what you do. If you line dry it will stay softer...

thanks, mamas! bearers of bad news, yes, but at least i'm not feeling bad every time i wash my pockets with my everything else. and i will try the line-drying more regularly (but am usually a sucker for time-saving!! lol).
