adding snaps to PF

I just bought a few CPFs and hemp Pfs that I want to have around for when Ds has upset tummies and runny poo. I need to add some snaps to these. DH is a SAHD and will not use snappis or pins.
How do I do this. As seen in the second photo.

Seems pretty simple. I just don't have a clue how to do it.
Do I need a snap press Does the diaper need to be cut hemmed? I guess they are essentially home-made fitteds.

The text above the picture says that snaps were added at the back two corners and then two-three snap settings on the front.

What would be the purpose of the two-three snap settings on the front?

Yes you do need a snap press of sorts to add those. There are hand ones and large ones. The hand ones i believe have a learning curve, never tried one so I can't elaborate. The larger ones are on the expensive side and just take some practice to master.

It doesn't look like she hemmed/trimmed them. The multiple snap settings is for adjustability & growth.

I think before adding snaps or alpix you need to decide and stick with a certain fold so the closure is always in the right place for you.

If you do it, please let us know how it works out. I have been curious about this!
