were all set...

and anxiety is setting in.....

I just got done shopping for my dd first day of school. I cannot belive she is going to school the day after tomorrow....
I met her teacher and i liked her. Shesaidshe will be evaluating the kids, and in 2 weeks my dd will be tested for placement. There is a chance she willl be moved to 1st grade. but i want to see howshe is doing inkindergarten before i test her.
I am feeling so sad she will be gone all day. I know i am not the first mom to send her kid toschool, but man i dont know how any mom prior to me survived this...
I just want to cry. Where did the last 5 and a halfyears go???

Re: were all set...

I'm sending my oldest off on the bus Monday morning to all day kindergarten so I know how you feel. My biggest consolation is that his kinder teacher is his primary teacher in church so he's very familiar and comfortable with her. He is going to kinder where my DH and I both went (DH in morning class and me in afternoon....it was the time we never met )

I don't know what I'll do without him all day.

Wasn't it just yesterday that he slipped out of my body?

Hard to let them go....

We're getting ready to send our oldest to school on Tuesday. I can't believe it,where has the time gone? Wasn't it just last week that I brought him home?
I'm pretty much expecting Ian to be moved into first grade. He can do everything the first graders do and somethings even the second graders do. Unfortunately it's not saying much,Tucson doesn't expect much from the kids. It's seriously sad what they expect kindergardeners to know

My youngest start K on the 17th. I am looking forward to it and so is she. I homeschool the oldest and it will give us some uniterrupted time and let us do some field trips. Then when Lauren comes home I can spend my evening with her.
