So tell me about longies.....

My dh just said I can buy a pair of longies . Where do I buy ? What do I buy? I want something soft and that can be worn under her dresses. pinks maybe? or naturals? Please spam me with info. He won't let me spend a lot and he wants me to get input from experienced moms before I buy-so that I won't buy something that's not good. Thanks mommas for all the information you all have given me here

Do you want knit or recycled? That's a good place to start!

Go to Belladonna Designs!! She does awesome work and has really great prices! I just got my first pair of longies and I love them! I actually think she is a mama on this board. Maybe she'll respond!

Re: So tell me about longies.....

What fun--getting your first wool!

If you want something for under dresses, you'll probably want longies that are styled more like leggings than pants. Maybe look for something that was made from the Perfection Pants pattern--they are very close-fitting. The one drawback is that they usually tend to be a bit pricier than other longies. Maybe check out the FSOT here, the TP on MDC, etc. for a used pair and see how you like them?

Most of my wool is from her. She does excellent work for unbeatable prices. Wool is great, you will love it. Merino is my favorite but it gets all pilly fast. BFL is soft and normally pretty thick so it is good for carseats and over night.
