I already know what you are going to say....

but I am going to ask anyways...

Should we be going through another growth spurt at 6.5 months???

Answer: yes

Why do I ask? BC I don't know if I can do it! I just need some encouragement and hugs. Her last spurt was 2.5 weeks of feedings spaced by 2 only hours.

And she's cut her first tooth!

It will get better!!! Try not to focus on the number of feedings or how often...just sit yer bootie down in front of the TV and take the oppurtunity to veg out. Soon, you will be begging for some veg time and it won't be anywhere in sight.

I know when my beanie girl is having a growth spurt - I get all frazzled and frustrated, telling hubby that 'gosh dang, I just freakin' fed her 5 minutes ago!'...and then, while I am lying in bed, watching TV, nursing her, taking big, relaxing breaths (And maybe even napping a bit - all th while, he is busy chasing after the other 2)...I wonder why I don't wish every day was a growth spurt day

Hang in there! I couldn't believe how much they nursed during growth spurts until we hit the 6 week one! My husband came home and I had to tell him that she had literally been nursing for 1 1/2 hours straight!

On the plus side, the more he nurses at the beginning, the sooner your supply with boost and maybe he'll just be able to nurse more at normal spacings? We can hope

I couldn't have said it better.

Remember to keep drinking tons of water, and make sure that you are eating enough. She may be comfort nursing b/c of the new tooth. I found with both of my boys that they comfort nursed when they cut teeth. It hurt, bad, but within a couple of days, they had figured out how to latch on without using their new teeth.

It gets better, trust us.
