supplements/vitamins

My little guy (17months) barely eats anything (except lots of breastmilk - so I know I shouldn't worry too much yet).

Does anyone give their kids supplements/vitamins/ect?

My little guy will drink lots- maybe someone has a good shake/smoothie reciepe with lots of good nutrition in it?

The only supplement I give my younger boys, is fish oil. My oldest one (who can swallow pills) takes alfalfa every day. I keep meaning to get alfalfa tea for my younger ones, but always forget!

If he's a good drinker, maybe try a green smoothie, those are chock full of everything that he will need.

dd is 2 years old and she gets the my first flinstones chewable vitamin. I break it in half and put it in oatmeal. I also just realized the other day that she would eat it broken in half even when not mixed into the oatmeal.

My dd will be 2 next month. I have been given her Enfamil Poly-vi-sol, it is a multivitamin supplement. You can give it to them straight, in a food or drink. I bought it at walmart, but pretty sure Ive seen it at Target, and Toys R Us too, probably can find it anywhere, and Vitamin Shoppe and GNC probably too. Also, it is a liquid not a chewable.

Re: supplements/vitamins

I give my boys a teas. a day of cod liver oil in the winter. Since their not in the sun much it helps them to get their D vits. If you are looking for a shake Garden of life products have a green powder called perfect food that we would blend with oj strawberries blueberries and banana. I know you can get them at vitamin shoppe either in store or online. I use the same brand cod liver oil its lemon mint flavor and my boys don't mind it. cod liver oil is so good for lo's brain development that is another reason why I give it to my boys. I take it myself when preg and nursing. My dh will only take it in capsule form he is not as strong as us
