I decided not to give DD Tri-Vi-Sol despite my pedi's strong recommendation, not b/c I'm against giving her vitamin D, but b/c I'm against giving her the other things in the drops, especially vitamin A palmitate. However, a month later, I'm feeling guilty since we're not getting outside a fraction of the time that I had hoped. (BF/breast issues have made me topless for a month, so I'd be quite a sight!) I understand there is a D-Vi-Sol available in Canada but oddly not in the US -- is this accurate? Does this mean that there are NO vitamin D-only drops available in the US? Very odd....

Of course, I fully understand that BF is the greatest thing imaginable, but I also figure our ancestors' babies were outside a lot more than we are so it is possible that BM hasn't adjusted to our indoor lifestyle!

So, does anyone in the US know if anything exists? Thank you!
